Wiring the Sebco 24v Power Supply to Fire Feature(s)

As many of you know, HPC Fire Inspired™ offers our electronic ignition fire features in a low voltage (24v) configuration. We get many questions in regard to wiring the power supply to the fire feature. Today we will clear up some of the wiring questions we get from the field

We will start with the primary side (120v) of the power supply. It will ship with a power cord and a grounded plug that will simply plug into an outdoor GFCI receptacle. Once the cover for the secondary side of the power supply is removed you will notice factory-supplied spade connectors for each circuit. A red wire marked X4 will pre-wired to the breaker plate, this is the 24v hot supplied to the breakers. There will be a red wire with a wire nut attached marked X1, this is the common connection for the appliance(s)

Feed The Common(s) or green wires from the HPC Fire Inspired™ fire feature into the power supply and connect to X1 wire (common connection). All commons from all appliance(s) can be connected to the X1 common wire with the supplied wire nut.

Now you can connect the hot (red) lead(s) individually to the breaker plate using the supplied spade connectors. It’s important that only one hot wire be attached to each breaker. Below is a diagram for wiring two 24v HPC Fire Inspired fire features to a single Sebco power supply. Remember all hot wires connect to individual breakers, but all commons can be connected to X1. Below is a simple pictured diagram of two 24v fire features wired to one Sebco power supply. We hope this clears up the concerns of the 24v HPC Fire Inspired™ appliances.
