The HPC Fire Inspired™ Tech Talk this week is going to focus on Warranty – specifically Lifetime vs Limited Warranty and the difference between these two Warranties. First, let’s look at what each one of these warranties means:
Limited Lifetime – a limited lifetime warranty is limited to just the specified parts, certain types of defects, or other conditions. A limited warranty can mean virtually anything the manufacturer decides, so it is important to fully understand the meaning of “limited” and read all fine print.
Lifetime – A lifetime warranty is a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship that has no time limit to make a claim. It is a hassle-free experience, free from any “fine print” that puts the onus on the buyer for something out of their control.
Here at HPC, we are committed to SAFETY and INNOVATION, therefore this is what you can expect from our hassle-free lifetime warranty:
- ALL Stainless Steel Burners are covered
- Applies to both RESIDENTIAL and COMMERCIAL
- If a warranty claim is needed, an RMA will be issued and freight paid for by HPC
- Shipment damage IS covered under our warranty
- Normal wear and tear are ALSO covered under our warranty
As you are looking to make your next fire feature purchase, make sure you closely read the fine print so you know whether you are looking at a Lifetime vs Limited Warranty on the product. (some examples below of our competitor’s fine print) so you are making the best decision possible. Our goal is to make sure when you buy from HPC, you are buying with confidence!
“All burners…must be covered or warranty is null and void”
“This warranty…does not cover defects due to normal wear and tear;”
“It does not warrant any product or part that has been…damaged in shipping…”
“Purchaser’s responsibility for freight cost on RMA”
