HPC 2 Sec Lean:

HPC is always striving to further hone our craft. From creating innovative cutting edge product lines to our day to day operations. The intrinsic mentality to provide great products paired with outstanding service is actively pursued daily. HPC creates an environment that fosters teamwork as well as the crucial sharing of ideas to streamline procedures and policies. Each action enables HPC to pass benefits on to our customers. One of the ways HPC fosters this value is our 2 Second Lean Meetings. 2 Second Lean uses simple tools to sort, sweep and standardize. Every team member submits ideas to enhance efficiency. Over the course of time, HPC has implemented over 5,000 ideas. Every little step helps HPC take strides toward great things.

Match Lit Highlights:

HPC offers the largest Match Lit variety available on the market. From our CSA Certified units up to 65K BTUs to HPC’s made to order Match Lit designs offering more power giving off 400K BTUs. Our Match Lit can be paired with any of our burners from our classic Penta to our Torpedo which yields the largest flame on the market. The Match Lit series is made available in a variety of sizes. HPC utilizes high quality stainless steel paired with our water mitigating technology. Unlike our competition, HPC’s Match Lit Series can be paired with all different types of enclosures from our ready to finish units to our signature Bowls. In addition, HPC’s Match Lit can be paired with HPC’s Match Lit Spark Igniter Kit. The kit includes a spark igniter as well as battery activated push button mounting plate. This kit can be easily installed and offers consumers ease of use igniting the unit without matches or a lighter. Be on the look out for our new catalog which will highlight HPC’s Match Lit Kits!

HPC Employee Spotlight: Mike Cox – Supervisor

HPC proudly would like to shine a light on Mike Cox. Mike was originally from Denver Colorado and moved to Ohio with his family at age 10. Mike spent his formative years in Enon OH and attended Greenon High School. After graduation, Mike worked for HH Greg. There he worked in the warehouse assisting in production and shipping. Mike transitioned to Aaron Sales and Lease as a Product Technician. There he made deliveries and service calls to customers. Mike was ready for a change and joined our HPC Family. He initially started as a Temp in shipping and then was hired on in production. A constant learner, Mike quickly applied himself gleaning as much knowledge about HPC offerings as possible. His efforts were recognized and he was promoted to Production Lead. Mike continued to excel and was awarded the HPC Employee of the Year award. Continuing to prove himself as an asset, Mike was promoted to Supervisor of Production. For the past 2 years, Mike has been striving to mentor his employees. As Supervisor of Production, he oversees the Forno de Pizza Oven, Pilots, and Outdoor/ Indoor Kits. He is dedicated to honing his craft. Mike is truly passionate and takes pride in all everything he does. He strives for excellence and operates with the utmost professionalism. Our team is better with leaders like Mike on board.

Outside of work Mike enjoys spending time with his girlfriend Christyl and their adorable dogs. You can find him taking in nature. Mike loves spending time with his sister and nephew. His family and friends mean everything to him. He loves football and baseball. He is a 49ers and Braves fan. Mike enjoys traveling. His favorite places to go to are Colorado, Tennessee and Montana.
