Electronic Ignition Operation, Home Automation Vs. Bluetooth Fire Pit

Distinguishing the preference for how a consumer would prefer to operate their appliance will aid in identifying which model will best suite their needs. The main difference between between the ON/OFF and HI/LO is how the units are operated. HPC’s Electronic Ignition model is CSA certified technology offering top of the line convenience and optimal performance to our consumers.

Electronic Ignition ON/OFF:
Electronic Ignition ON/OFF units can be controlled with a remote, a wall switch or is compatible with home automation systems. In contrast with the HI/LO model, the ON/OFF can be connected to home automation system as long as the system is set to switch the unit on and off. Existing home automation technology, such as the Jandy system, can be installed to relay into HPC’s circuit allowing the home automation system to activate power and control the fire appliance.

Electronic Ignition HI/LO:
The Electronic Ignition HI/LO model includes a smart remote to control the unit. In addition the HI/LO can be controlled by downloading HPC’s smart app. The HI/LO model enables consumers to control the height of their flame by switching the settings. At this time, the HI/LO model is not compatible with home automation technology. The HI/LO utilizes a blue tooth receiver to transmit a signal from a remote, or smart device to allow consumers to operate the appliance.

HPC’s Home Automation Technology Coming Soon:
HPC is always striving to enhance consumer experiences and have been working hard to make our Electronic Ignition series compatible with Home Automation Technology. HPC projects that this new innovation will be made available in January of 2023.
