In this Tech Talk, HPC Fire Inspired would like to highlight the Electronic Ignition Control (EI Series). While this system is offered in both On/Off Models as well as our High/Low models, we will highlight why the EI Series in the On/Off Model is a great match for a wide variety of commercial spaces such as hotels, bars, and restaurants.
Electronic Ignition How It Works:
HPC’s Electronic Ignition is CSA Certified and factory tested. In turn, this 3rd party certification gives owners peace of mind that their unit will meet official building standards. The EI series comes fully assembled and is ready to install in your chosen setup. HPC simplifies the process of installation with the 3 D Installation and Troubleshooting APP. Download the BILT APP for the latest instructions. All control components are protected within the valve box. Once installed, The Electronic Ignition (EI Series) can be controlled with the use of a wall switch or a timer. When the On command is received, the system completes safety checks then initiates the flow of gas. After approximately 5 seconds the surface igniter will glow lighting the pilot flame and then the main burner. In addition to the automatic safety checks, the units are built with safety controls such as the Emergency Stop (Estop). This is perfect for commercial applications. The Estop is equipped with a push-button keyed reset and allows supervisor confirmation that safely turns off up to three circuits plus one fail-safe function. HPC Fire also offers commercial automatic shutoff timers ranging from 2 to 12-hour settings. HPC’s safe and reliable technology allows patrons and staff to operate the features easily. In addition, owners, patrons, and staff can trust that the HPC unit will not only light every time but ensures safe use for all.
