Installation and Mechanics:
Upon selecting your desired fire feature, it is imperative that you prepare the installation site properly. Identifying the correct gas line size to ensure that the gas pressure will support your fire feature is a critical step that will ensure your fire features performs safely and reliably. Why Media Matters:
Chuck Parsons the leader of our NFI certified Tech team, discusses the important role media plays in the performance of HPC Fire features. Each piece of our fire appliance is engineered to play a critical role in the performance of the fire feature and the role of media is no different. Per Chuck Parsons, “Customers may think of media as an afterthought, however, the media plays an essential role in allowing the flame to climb and achieve the desired height. In addition, the media creates pockets of gas allowing the flame to have a greater surface area to travel yielding a natural tapering of the flame.” Consumers will see a visible difference in the flame height and span if they run the unit without media and this is because the gas doesn’t have the surface area to travel. This is why you should never run your unit without media in the pan. HPC offers a wide selection of media that will appeal to your desired aesthetic. Refer to HPC website under accessories and you will see that there are ten different colors of fire pit glass, in addition to volcanic cinders, ceramic fiber coals, ceramic river rock and ceramic wood bits.

There is much to consider when selecting your burner, from aesthetics, intended use to functionality. HPC Fire Inspired offers a wide variety of burners that provide intimate lighting for a tabletop feature with our Linear or Interlink units to our Torpedo fire pit burners that provide the largest flame and the greatest amount of warmth. All our Burners are engineered with quality commercial stainless steel, employ either staggered ports or directional ports to create aesthetically pleasing flames, utilize a raised hub design to allow water to be guided away from the flame source and are independently certified by CSA. Linear and Interlink Units: The Linear Interlink Units are engineered with alternating ports which achieve a beautiful 8 to 10-inch accent flame perfect for a fire table.
H Burners: HPC’s H Burner series has the versatility to be utilized in indoor gas fireplaces or outdoor gas fire pits. The ports are directed towards the center giving a beautiful full-looking flame reaching approximately 16 to 20 inches in height. These units create an elegant flame becoming a true focal point.
Penta Burners: The Penta Burner is designed for outdoor gas fire pits. The engineered patented design delivers a uniform full campfire flame and the look of the flame is maintained on both the high and low settings. The Penta Burner will yield a flame that ranges from 18-22 inches tapering down from the center giving it the classic campfire look.
Torpedo Burners: The new Stainless Steel Torpedo burner is outfitted with our patented fuel efficiency nozzle design, as well as our welded burner nozzle components.
